So I got older on Wednesday and celebrate by having a party in a warehouse this weekend (photos pending photos here). People came from far to enjoy cake and wine with myself and F. Lots of fun was had by all, but I suspect the collapsed ceiling might object to that.
My new (to me) toy is a Ridgeback Day 0 hybrid bike - basically a road bike with flat bars, for scooting around London and Loughborough on. It’s in very good condition and a lot easier to ride than my old mountain bike. Unfortunately, at the moment the time saving by having a lighter bike is offset by the fact that it takes me 3 minutes to get my feet in the toe clips each time! It’s a one of these:
